Sirius 126 MT — laminated timber roof structure under construction

Sirius 126 MT — Building Progress

8/10/25, 9:00 PM

In only a few weeks, Sirius 126 MT went from foundation to a house with a roof and windows — showing the speed of Nordic timber technology.

The Sirius 126 MT project on Flathead Lake clearly showed the advantages of prefabricated laminated timber construction — fast assembly with consistent quality.
Part 1 (June 28 – July 14, 2025)
Within just two weeks after arrival, the house kit was unloaded, lifted to the site, and the platform, walls, and roof structure were in place. Even with several rainy days, the crew managed to complete the rafters, soffits, eaves, and OSB roof panels before mid-July.
Part 2 (July 25 – August 8, 2025)
When the team returned at the end of July, work continued with decks, porch frames, fascia, and details. Staining and weather protection were applied quickly, followed by the installation of windows and roofing. By early August, the house already had its roof closed, windows installed, and exterior elements finished, while the interior walls and trims were underway.
The timeline highlights the efficiency of this building system: what typically takes months with conventional methods was achieved in just a few weeks on site.
